Meet Kanika

I have always been drawn to the complexity of being human — the ways our identities, relationships, cultures, and experiences shape how we move through the world. As a culturally attuned, trauma-informed therapist, I work with people navigating perfectionism, identity, self-worth, life transitions, and the pressure of balancing multiple expectations and roles.

I specialize in supporting immigrants, people of color, college students, and athletes who want to feel more connected to themselves, their emotions, and the life they want to build.

Therapy with me is compassionate, interactive, and honest. I show up fully — with warmth, curiosity, and realness — and I’ll gently challenge you when it serves your growth. Together, we create a space where you can slow down, reflect, and show up more authentically without fear of judgment or the pressure to have everything figured out.

You deserve more than survival. My hope is that therapy helps you move through life with greater self-understanding and a softer relationship with yourself. Over time, many of my clients begin to feel more grounded, more emotionally connected, and more confident in who they are.
